About Us

The Modern Grocer is owned and operated by passionate foodies, Joanne and Simon Nimmo.

The couple moved to the picturesque village of Uki, in the heart of the Tweed Valley, after spending several years operating the popular Emporium Food Co. in Berry, on the New South Wales south coast.

Launching The Modern Grocer gives Joanne and Simon another opportunity to share their love and knowledge of gourmet food with other people living in rural regions.
